About The North League

INTRODUCTION

The North League is Chicago’s North Shore premier travel pickleball league, built exclusively for country clubs and racquet clubs. Our inaugural 2026 season brings together 14 clubs across 11 divisions for a summer of competitive, structured, and community-driven match play.

OUR MISSION

We created The North League to give North Shore club members something that didn’t exist before — a well-organized, competitive pickleball league where clubs can go head-to-head in weekly matches, build real rivalries, and bring their members together around one of the fastest-growing sports in the country.

HOW IT WORKS

Teams represent their clubs across multiple divisions organized by gender, skill level, and age group. Matches are played weekly at host club locations throughout the North Shore from June through July, with playoffs to close out the season. All matches are DUPR-rated, giving players official rankings alongside the team competition.

THE INAUGURAL SEASON

Summer 2026 marks The North League’s first season. With 14 founding clubs, 11 divisions, and 9 weeks of play including playoffs, this is the most comprehensive interclub pickleball competition the North Shore has ever seen.

SEASON DETAILS

Season: June 1 – August 9th, 2026 (10 weeks including playoffs)
Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Divisions: 11 (Ladies A/B/C, Men’s A/B, CoEd A/B, Ladies A/B Wed, Men’s 60+, Ladies 60+)
Clubs: 14 founding member clubs
Format: Weekly interclub matches at host locations
Ratings: All matches submitted to DUPR
